????Qingdao has achieved a lot in solving traffic jam problems. According to statistics, comparing 2016 with 2014, the transportation efficiency in the urban roads increased by 13% to 30%, the rush hours in the morning and afternoon have been shortened by about 30%. The average car speed increased by about 28.8%, and the bus speed in the urban area increased by about 34.7%.
????According to the Traffic Analysis Report for Major Chinese Cities 2016 newly released by Amap and other authorized institutes such as the Traffic and Transportation Ministry Scientific Research Institute, in the list of Traffic Jam Ease of Major Chinese Cities, Hangzhou ranks No.1, closely followed by No.2 Qingdao. According to traffic delay index list of 60 major Chinese cities issued by Amap, Qingdao dropped to No.19 in 2016 from No.9 in 2015. Qingdao enjoys the No.1 ranking in rush hour traffic mile ratio. Didi media research institute and Yicai business data center and Caixin.com have jointly released the Smart Traffic Big Data Report 2016, and Qingdao is No.3 in Top10 Cities with Most Increased Average Car Speed of 2016.
????The improvement of Qingdao traffic is due to the improvement of traffic infrastructure, the road being unblocked, and improvement in parking lot construction advancement on one hand, and on the other hand, Qingdao puts great efforts in building smart traffic system to consistently improve traffic order.
